In late memory of a man that made me change my view on life and how to live it.
Monty Oum was more then just a man to me, he was an inspiration that I could reach out and try to grasp even if I couldn't touch him. I was inspired to want to meet him, and I know that it might seem like an impossible dream at a time, even try and work with him at Rooster Teeth. When I heard the news about his death, it didn't just rip me apart, it was like a little part of me wanted to just give up on my dreams. I know I can never see him ever again, but I'm still aspiring to work hard to try and become the best I can and WILL be. Monty might be gone, but his work is still alive and with his attitude of never looking back but moving forward, I know I can do the same with my own life.
Monty, you inspired so many, you changed the out look on many peoples lives, you made people smile and laugh, you were the coolest dude on the planet, you danced like a pro and yes you were the nerd that people worshiped while in high school. I might have not known you personally as a friend, co-worker or even a passer by at a con, but I knew you from your passion with your work and your open attitude on life. I'm working hard to achieve my own goals and I hope that one day, I can be half the person you were.
See you, Monty.
